One of the most iconic and entertaining events of the Robertson Show, the Potato Races are a true test of strength, endurance, and community spirit! Competitors race around the Main Arena carrying heavy sacks of potatoes, cheered on by a roaring local crowd.

Entries are limited to 30 competitors per race, so get in early to secure your spot in this legendary event.

Age: 12–15 years | Carry: 8 kg | Entry Fee: $4

Entry in any Show Event is at your own risk.
All competitors must sign a Waiver at the Show Office before competing.
Once signed, you’ll receive an armband – no armband, no play!
Events run throughout Saturday, weather permitting, because this is Robertson, and we make no apologies for the climate!
