Young Women of the Year

In 1962, the first Miss Showgirl Competition was held at the Sydney Royal Easter Show. Over 50 years later, the program has evolved, now known as the Young Woman of the Year, continuing its proud tradition of recognising, mentoring, and celebrating young rural women who embody the spirit of their communities.

Today’s entrants are passionate, informed, and community-minded individuals who represent the future of rural New South Wales. They are confident ambassadors, advocates for agriculture, and leaders in their local areas, all deserving of the title The Land Sydney Royal Ag Shows Young Woman 2026.

The Robertson Show is seeking its 2026 Young Woman of the Year to represent the show at local events and compete at the regional finals, with the chance to progress to the Sydney Royal Easter Show.
