2008 Robertson Show

Robertson Show Girl Competition

Robertson Show Society held its 2nd Showgirl Competition for only the second time since 1979. The Show's Centenary Year was the impetus for the first Competition and attracted nine entrants, the winner being Miss Rosalind Bresnehan, a local Avoca girl, who subsequently went on to compete at The Sydney Royal and gained 2nd place in the State.

Until 2008, the Show had not held another Showgirl Competition, but with a lot of encouragement from fellow shows, Robertson bit the bullet and took the plunge! The main sponsor of the 2008 competition is the very popular Perfume and Skin Care Company of Robertson, with bouquets supplied by Brides and Blooms, Marulan, and sashes supplied by the Show Society

There were four entrants, Miss Gemma Small from Albion Park, sisters Amy-Kate Tilley and Cathleen Tilley from Robertson, and Bronwyn Turner, also from Robertson.
